The Bavarian Polymers Design Team is headed by Chief Design Engineer Robert J. Kushner. With his extensive experience and knowledgeable team, he works directly with our clients to design custom products strategically created to fit their specific design needs.
Bob is originally from the Pittsburgh, PA, area where his extensive career in the fenestration industry began with the design and testing of thermal-break windows and doors for the Aluminum Company of America. He later worked for Vinyl Building Products as Systems Design Manager, coordinating technical efforts on vinyl window and door projects while acting as a liaison between the sales force and fabricators.
Bob joined Bavarian Polymers in 2010 as Chief Design Engineer, upgrading the extruder’s current offerings, designing new vinyl products and working with customers on custom designs, prototyping, costing, testing, fabrication tooling and production start-ups.
